*grins* I am in a somewhat childish-tiggerish mood...
...so I dug out a poem-for-children about my favourite season, which has finally arrived: autumn is here, YAY!
Der Herbst steht auf der Leiter
Der Herbst steht auf der Leiter
Und malt die Blätter an,
Ein lustiger Waldarbeiter,
Ein froher Malersmann.
Er kleckst und pinselt fleißig
Auf jedes Blattgewächs,
Und kommt ein ein frecher Zeisig,
Schwupp, kriegt der auch ´nen Klecks.
Die Tanne spricht zum Herbste:
Das ist ja fürchterlich,
die anderen Bäume färbste,
Was färbste nicht mal mich?
Die Blätter flattern munter
Und finden sich so schön.
Sie werden immer bunter.
Am Ende falln sie runter.

plus, I can has new boots to bounce though autumnal nature...
They are laced high
and have a zip
and they fit over the brace! *BOUNCE*
*bounces through leaves and puddles and mud*
*is ridiculously happy about boots*
