... so, been quiet 'cause my right wrist has been seriously acting up, spend my time running from orthopeadic dr to MRI to neurologist to ENG...
It's carpal tunnel, not helped by having had injuries/surgery on that wrist a couple of times.
Surgery terminated for next Wednesday.
Lots of stuff needed to get arranged, work, nurses service for my father, time off, physiotherapy after, needs some scrambling but all set.
... and then I just had a phone call, they have a more urgent emergency patient that needs my surgery time slot, the next appointment they can offer me is at the end of October.
YaY.
Did I mention my wrist keeps getting worse, which means more nerve damage?

Stopped overnight at that Swiss campground next to the nice lake, had a swim, next day drove down to Genova.
Heavy traffic, stop-and-go around Milano (seeing the Olymic traffic signs at Como and Milano exits made me smile), nothing serious. But I'm glad I break up the drive like that, less stress.

I NEED A BOOK! *SCRAMBLES BACK TO THE CADDY TO GET ONE* (made it just before they closed the garage for passage)
Arrived on Sardinia on Friday morning, the day before the SwimTrek started, because there is a nice outdoor market on Frday mornings in Palau.
Yes, there are the ubiquitous stalls selling junk, but also farmers with fruit and veg, locally grown cork and wood carvings, cheese and cured meats, pottery, fabrics...
