Getting ready to advent...
Ok, so, last sunday was Totensonntag, that means this is the weekend to put up Advent/Christmas decorations. My mother's side of the family is from an area in Germany where there is a very strong emphasis on it's Christmas craft and traditions.
Meaning: I'm at my parents (who aren't getting any younger) to wrangle Engel and Bergmänner and 4-tierd pyramids and wrought iron Schwibbögen and Räuchermänner and knee-high Nussknacker - a lot of which have been carved/woodturned/fretsawed by relatives or, if by a brand, been collected for generations...
