Pre-packing
*groans* pre-packing this weekend
you know, that stage where you hunt through the house, muttering 'where did x get to, I'm sure I put it there 2 years ago...'
make piles the things you do find in the living room
scour the box with chargers and power cables and try to figure out which one fits that watch you want to use, oh wait, is that the charger for the underwater camera?
remove the back seats from the car you'll be camping in
de- and reassemble the diving gear you want to take, the med surely does not need the cold water equipment... oh, and I expect the use non-DIN valves on the tanks...

Well, it's not the way it was 40 years ago, when you were on an island in the med and hadn't brought xyz, you really couldn't get your hands on that thing, and probably not find an equivalent either... nowadays it's just annoying that you forgot xyz, now you have to buy it at the local superstore or order online ;)

Nowadays you can leave home and as long as you have passport, tickets and a credit card you're okay!
