"Chronische Atemwegserkrankungen" stehen an sechster und "Sonstige Atemwegserkrankungen" an neunter Stelle, die allerdings von Covid verursacht werden.

Diabetes steht an achter Stelle, und Covid verursacht Diabetes.

Nierenversagen steht an zehnter Stelle, und Covid verursacht Nierenversagen.

Covid kann auch das Risiko für Alzheimer erhöhen.

I think in the UK I've seen the numbers compared to pre-covid times, which gives a better idea of how different things are now from before.

At the moment they report more hospital admissions from regular influenza than covid.

Oh, influenza admissions are even higher? That is really worrisome! A result of covid damaging the immune system, I'd guess

I was under the impression that, having been protected by masks and isolation during the last couple of years, the population, in general, has lower immunity where flu is concerned, and that it wasn't a direct result of covid.
