May Day

May Day did give me a 'down' this year...
I've been looking for a new job a while now, hoping to find somewhere where I have to work less than 80 hours a week and earn more than 8,50€ an hour (I'm a fully qualified veterinary surgeon with 9 years job experience), but no such luck.

So, May Day...
Made me consider that there have been demands for 8 hour days as far back as 1810 (I can but dream of 8 hour days)... and that I did go demonstrating for decent working conditions when I was a teen/student...

... I suppose I lost any illusions I had...
