I have good news and bad news,

The good news is that I've got the new shelves assembled.

The bad news is that that does not slove my problem.

And in the meantime, I've seen THE bed I want (my bed is under the roof, behind the uppermost shelf in the first pic).

WANT

And I want these stairs to get up to my attic:

I want a stately home with a bookroom and a library, and bookshelves half-way up the stairs, and lining the passage ways, and all full of books!

And piles of books on tables, and in the corner ...

Good plan!

Ah yes, I see your problem. Unfortunately I'm getting towards a similar situation:

The bed is a wonderful idea - plus if you've got a spare cupboard there's always this. :)

Sorry, was internet-less a couple of days.

That little room looks nice! Awesome architect! Whoever planned a building with book rooms like that knew what life is about!

And my cupboards are struggling to house all my kitchen implements... with all the excavating and clearing out of moving- and book-boxes I came to realise I have 2 (two!) rice cookers, 2 (two!) toasters and 3 (three) water-boilers! *headcutttingboard*
