Yesterday early morning, some people showed up to deliver a kitchen!
I was rather surprised, the last thing I knew was 'you have to order again with a different producer, we can't get to your kichen, it's tied down in the financial-law-thing...'
They said they had talked to someone about delivering (had to cancel all appointments and stuff), but... (I suspect my aunt. She's been worker-sitting, and while she loves to gossip and to trade information on people and events, she has an uncanny knack of not telling people the information they actually need or could well use...)
So, I CAN HAS A KITCHEN!
WITH A DISHWASHER!!!
In the last 24 years, every time I moved I thought 'the next place I'm moving in will definitely have a dishwasher!'. Alas, that never worked out.
Until now...
ZOMG!! I CAN HAS A DISHWASHER!!!11!!!11!!
Can't actually use it yet, need plumbers first, apparently the valves and things aren't up to it right now...
Also need electrician to get the 'power on' feature of all the appliances sorted...
And the 'Bezirksschornsteinfeger', the chimney sweep who is certified by law to allow the use of chimneys, as in 'yes, ok, you won't kill youself using that'. He needs to check the installation of the fume hood.
All in all, sometime next week I can actually use my kitchen, YAY!
