I found several - they seem to be 'saline' walls built in spa parks in your part of the world. I've never seen anything like them before. I think it is this one?

Yes! It's a Graduation tower. Ok, we don't use them to make salt any more, better infrastructure now!
(the 'Spa towns' are spa towns because there's a hot spring with saline water(brine?))

Some of the houses in my street still have medieval salt pans in their gardens but a Graduation Tower would be much more impressive.
