Vacationing Sardinia

... from the island's main harbour, Olbia, it's an hour's drive north to the nice little tourist harbour Palau where the ferries to the La Maddalena Archipelago (where the SwimTrek takes... water) embark.

I'd passed through last year, so I knew which campground I wanted, because... SEA! beach!





Time to recharge my batteries



swim around a bit



go diving



go shopping



find nice restaurants



and go swimming!

That sea is so blue. The whole setting look amazing.

It is a really nice corner of the med, and - at the beginning of October - not completely overrun (as ist is 'in season').

And... ah, not really, back home I put the back seats in again and there's nothing build permanently inside. (and most of the time I don't even bother to put up the tent that attaches to the ... tailgate? boot door? rear door?)

You have best of both worlds - a passenger vehicle and a camper :-)
