What did you think of Shades of Grey (the only one of them that I've read)?

I thought it was an interesting idea... and I like the author's take on neurological programming. Of course it's something completely different than the previous series, but I really admire that. A lot of authors seem to get stuck on their 'winning formula' and keep re-writing the same book over and over... not that I mind that in some cases ;)
