No good news on The Hobbit front. An Unexpected Journey is . And 3D is SUCH a PAIN and the tickets were bloody expensive. On the plus side: no wailing women on the soundtrack.
Not good ... even worse if you have to pay for it!
I haven't heard much good said about the Hobbit in any format, and the fast frame one is being really criticised - like having a really large TV, but without a comfortable sofa ....
We managed to avoid the fast frame torture, but the English language edition (which we wanted, as one other friend reported that it was not bearable in German - they left) was only available in 3D.
