Happiness and stuff

Someone on my f-list has this cheerfull meme of 'things that made me happy today' going, and as I don't get enough together every day, I decided that 'things that made me happy the last couple of weeks' counts as well.

#1 He's back! Driving, non-leaking and with both front and rear windscreen!


#2 It's sad, but looking at my bookshelf makes me happy...

I still want to do a Sharpe September, either on lj or on LT and have been reorganising me shelves (but that particular one is too small, these are neither all my Tolkiens nor all my Peninsular War books - still pretty)... *happy sigh*

#3 Re-reading the non-Peninsular War Sharpes and being charmed again. Have done Triumph, Fortress and Trafalgar in the last weeks and noticed new things/ideas/quirkes of characterisation, just little things but things that make me smile and laugh and value Cornwell and Sharpe even more ;)

Ahaha, I love how your post is about cars as well :). And, of course, Sharpe. Who I imagine is delighted that he is making people happy, old Mr. Grumpypants :).
