Hello lj, am back from Reha...
... and now I need a vacation. I think I did a post about the scheduling FAIL of the first week? Well, that meant that I had a shitload of appointments the following weeks... Therapies started at 7 am and I was done at 5 or 5:30 pm. Breakfast? Lunchbreak? Not really, I could usually have either breakfast or lunch. With my scedule I was always rushing/running to the next therapy unit, quickly drying off after water-based things or running to get changed out of gymwear into snow proof outdoor gear.
A word about the area in Europe I'm in: where I am it's between -5°C and 0 right now, sunrise about 8am and sunset is about 4pm, and it's dark only a couple of minutes later, with clouds and drizzle and all.
So I never really had time 'off' in the daylight. I did have one sunny sunday and took a pic of the clinic:

But I didn't have any time to enjoy the snowy forest... so I skived off one afternoon to get something out of being above 800m in a forest:

I had taken a couple of books

in the mistaken belief that it would be a time of rest and relaxation and reading, but I only managed one German whodunnitmysterything with a very human and easy to relate to protagonist and very much clung to The Hobbit. Tolkien is such an extraordinary narrator...
Anyway, back home now, but disconnected from what is going on around me... I'm missing time! For me it's still the beginning of November but now I find Christmas looming over me like a tsunami wave. No fun or peace or quiet. Very much want this year to be over and the next one to be better...
