Have internet, so

Some of you might remember that on April 28th, last year, I had a car accident.

title or description

Brocken facial bones, acromioclavicular separation, sternum facture, intracranial injury and bleeding.
I do not remember what happened (2 days retrograde and 10 days anterograde amnesia), but the general consensus is that I was overtaking some kind of lorry when said lorry started doing a left turn without indicating. I managed to not frontally smash my car into the lorry but swerved right, the tail end of the lorry hitting the driver side and roof of my car and causing the damage.

When on March 28th, 3 days ago, as I was driving along the autobahn, my car got a bash, the rearview mirror fell onto my knees and the windscreen split, I was a bit shocked.

In Germany there have been a few instances in recent years where stones or logs were thrown off autobahn bridges by fun-seekers and as I had just passed under a bridge, this is why I phoned the police as soon as I had stopped on the emergency lane. They told me a patrol would be by soon, and I should leave the car, put on a reflective vest and move farther away from the road. So I dug out my reflective vest and the warning triangle and got out to get things done. This meant I got a look at the outside of the windscreen.

I was rather glad about this explanation. Took the rest of the day to talk to the police, get the car off the autobahn, notify insurance, find a garage to replace the windshield and walk home. People were friendly and helpful and things were done and organized without any fuss, so all-in-all it was very atraumatic.

Nevertheless I was a bit worried about what my subconscious would dig up during the night...

While I may have dreamed about both incidents the last few nights, I do not remember the dreams and sort of hope it will stay that way...

*HUGS* I am so glad you were okay, and that your nights have been dreamless.
