Ok, nano forums... I can't help myself, I have to share!

Sailing a rigged ship - starts out innocently enough...

Great Driving Roads, GB - for insight into US vs. European ideas of roads, towns and driving...

Schools + Americans in the UK - for the impossibility to turn two taps on...

Yachts: Exclusive european marinas and how to blow one up - because I can't help but wonder: has the op ever actually looked at a map of Europe?

Anyone know where to research white slavery in the 1860s? - for the cherry picking...

And a couple of interesting ones:

Historical Fiction pet peeves - *grins*

Germans and the German flag - has good points and insights

(*grins* I saw. Good points though... I still don't get why he'd think going 50 is racing... in town, yes, but not going through a village (yes, it is faster than the village speed limit) and it's not even near the official speed limit outside of town...)

It's certainly not the fastest I've driven a 70's Mini through a village in south-east England. (I used to drive a Mini when I lived in a small village near Hastings; it was brilliant for bombing round the lanes in.)

(Also, the two taps thing; better than here where they just don't have any hot water in hand-washing sinks at all. They don't do that in Germany too, do they?)

(in a lot of places you can't choose temperature - whatever comes out is what you get, but sometimes it's pre-mixed to 'lukewarm')
